PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT ALL FEAR!

 

 

 

I am sure that every situation you can think of where fear existed was because love was absent from within. Fear and love cannot operate at the same time. Consider that God, who is love, created you in perfect love. Because everything God has created is created in love. He has even supplied every need from the foundations of the earth. However, it is the absence of an undeniable knowing, or a close relationship with Him that causes fear to persist.

 

1 John 4:18, NIV: "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love."

 

Only perfect love can cast out fear in any and every situation. Believing, leaning on, depending on, trusting and being in a secured relationship with Jesus is the only way to bring you to a level of unshakeable perfect love.

 

Everything you can ever need from love is found in Jesus Christ. He is our Saviour.  Our Lord.  Our promise.  Our deliverer.  Our everything.  He is the beginning and the end.  I believe that when you decide to truly know Him, you will have the power to live life from a place of boldness, without fear, flowing from a place of unconditional love.  And it is that same Love that will empower you to live a limitless life of goodness, peace, joy and freedom.

 

In this month of February, many people will be talking about love.  But let us examine the way that God teaches us how to love.  Not the worldly kind of love that has expectations, conditions, or false standings.  Love, especially agape love is unshakeable!!!  That means no matter what you do God continues to love you through His gift of Grace!

 

Love is gentle, love is kind.  It is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.  Love is the most important fruit of the spirit.

 

 

This month we will discuss the essence of God which is love and how to apply more of it to our lives.  Begin to see yourself embracing more of the love of Christ in your life.  Know that He loves you with no conditions.  It is unconditional.  Believe and trust that He wants you to have life and live it more abundantly.

LOVE CHANGES THE WORLD!!!

 

 

 

You are and should live out the expressions of your heart, ideas and desires to make the world a better place.  This is an important step in living a lifestyle of faith, hope and everlasting love. It is what the world needs now. Yes I know it sounds cliché that the world needs love.  It most definitely is fuelled by love but activated by faith. Love is the energy that makes everything exist. Think about it. You were created by love. You were nurtured and cared for by love.  Love clothed you, feed you and taught you to be who you are today. You ultimately build your life on the things that you love. You live where you love and then you marry the one you love. And if you are smart you will spend your life working for the job or create a career that you love.  This is the ultimate way to live your life and if you are not living this way, then you need to change it Now! Love is the fuel, the energy, the light that you need to be in order to make this world a better place. And there is one crucial thing you need to do to achieve this important task.

 

One of the most important ways to tap into the direction and path you should take is to connect spiritually with your divine creator –the Creator of this universe, you can call Him by whatever name you choose.  I call Him Almighty God. He is the father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! 

 

1 John 4:8

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

 

The Lord shows you how you can reflect his love to others--your friends, your family, even your enemies. God's love is unconditional; his love is very different from the love we experience with one another because it is not based on feelings. He doesn't love us because we please him. He loves us simply because He is love.

 

An entire passage found in 1 John 4:7-21 speaks of God's loving nature. Love is not merely an attribute of God, it is his very nature. God is not only loving, he is fundamentally love. God alone loves in the completeness and perfection of love.

 

So, if God is love and we, his followers, are born of God, then we will also love. God loves us, so we must love one another. A true Christian, one saved by love and filled with God's love, must live in love toward God and others.

 

Love is the true test of Christianity. We believe that the character of God is rooted in love. We receive God's love in our relationship with him. We experience God's love in our relationships with others.

A LOVE THAT MOVES MOUNTAINS!

 

 

 

"Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."  ~Mark 11:23

 

 

I recently shared my testimony on social media about having a cyst removed that was diagnosed as non-cancerous.  I am overjoyed as this process has confirmed so much for me.  #1 That God is faithful; #2 That He is covering and protecting me; #3 That I am walking in my purpose; #4 That His love never fails; #5 He makes a way even when I couldn't see one; #6 He is speaking to me through signs and wonders; and #7 He is a God that answers prayer!

 

Many of you are going through various different tests and trials of your own.  Many of you have questions unanswered or are trying to understand why things have occured the way they have in your life.  I am here to tell you that only a close intentional relationship with God can ever help you to understand what is going on in your life.  You are valuable to Him.  You need to fully understand your worth.  He would not put you through or allow you to go through some of the things you do if He did not have a plan to use it for your good!

 

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:18

 

There is nothing for God to gain if your life ends in defeat.  Your success is what He wants for you.  He wants you to learn, to grow, to evolve, to transform into the being He created you to be.  Realize your worth.  Realize that God wants you to expect everything good to work out.  But He cannot force you to see things in this way.  He will lead you, send you signs, messengers and circumstances to get you to see what He wants for your life.  But when you finally decide to participate and align yourself on that path, you will begin to see miracles, amazing opportunities, and circumstance come your way that you can share with the people around you.

 

Your life is not yours.  We all need each other and are vessels to be used to love, inspire, uplift, and help each other.  You need to stop focusing on "whats in it for me," and start saying "what can I do to be of service?"  What can I do to be a light, miracle and help for someone else?  And I guarantee that once you start to take the focus off of yourself, you will experience a different way of life.  A way to thrive not just survive.  God will take you down a joyous road one step at a time but He will lead you there if you allow Him to.

 

Your relationship with Jesus is crucial to your success.  Many people think that they will lack the opportunity to live a good life when they do things His way.  But life will be so much better than you could ever think or imagine!  The fulfillment you will feel once you give yourself away to be used for His glory is unmatched.

 

So I encourage you today to trust in the love of Jesus Christ who gave His life so that you can live a life of freedom from sin and death in every way.  His love will give you the strength to move mountains.  His love will give you the tools you need to overcome anything you are facing today.  Stand firm in His love and everything will work out for good to them that love the Lord. Just believe in His unfailing love!

LOVE OTHERS THROUGH SERVICE!

 

 

 

 

The most effective way to show love is to serve one another.  In order to truly live by faith you must work out your dedication to God through love by the power of the Holy Spirit.  It takes reverence, intentional focus and power in order to love the way God commands us to.  But it is possible.  Only a close relationship and surrender to the spirit will teach you, lead you and empower you to live a bold life of faith, love and purpose.

 

True love is the willing sacrifice of yourself for the ultimate good and eternal redemption of someone else.  It is using your God given gifts and talents to serve mankind, your family, your community, your brothers and sisters in a way that is pleasing to God helping each and every person find peace, joy, salvation and the love of God through faith.

 

Galatians 5:13-14 

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

 

To love your neighbour as yourself is the greatest commandment in which all the laws hang on.  If you love everyone you will not sin against them.  You will not do anything purposely to harm them in any way.  Simply put, do onto others as you would want done to you.  Love powerfully positions you to serve in a transformational way that will only result in blessings from the Lord.  You cannot be great in the kingdom of heaven without sacrifice.  To sacrifice your wants and needs in order to serve is one of the most powerful walks of faith you could ever decide to do wholeheartedly! 

 

Mark 10:44-45 

And whoever would be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

 

You must decide to live in a way that will unify mankind through love. Love one another.  Encourage one another.  Rejoice with one another.  Share the burdens of one another.  Love covers, protects, it cares deeply for the well-being of one another in the pursuit of becoming the complete image of God.

 

Philippians 2:1-11 

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, ...

 

 

Therefore let your life's mission be to find your purpose so that you can live your life through love serving mankind with your entire being.  Use your gifts to transform lives by the power of love through the holy spirit in order to make this world a better place.  By faith your relationship with your creator will lead you to a place of humility, worship, reverence and surrender.  Surrender all your cares unto him and live a lifestyle of faith by serving mankind through love.
