PUT YOUR FAITH INTO ACTION

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” – Matthew 18:18-19

Faith is simply confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ~Hebrews 11:1

Without action to your faith your faith will not work.  Many times you might have an idea of what you want in your head.  You pray about it.  You are asking God but wondering why nothing is happening.  Simply put God is waiting to see your action behind your belief.

You can say to yourself, I want a job and I have faith that God will give me a job.  But if you do not start looking, or even apply for some jobs that faith may never be fulfilled because you did not put action behind your belief.  Action is the evidence of your faith.  And until you start doing something in order to recieve the results you have been praying for, you are wasting your time.  Let's be people of action and not just dreamers.  Dreams dream but do nothing but dream.  Action takers get up and push for real tangible results.  So do yourself a favour, take a hard look at the areas you are struggling in.  Are you taking action towards the goals that you want to see?

One of the things I always teach in my women's ministry group is that we must treat our lives like a study subject in school.  Get a notebook.  Write a list of all the areas in your life that you want to see change.  What are you doing in each area?  What scriptures are you professing over that particular area?  Are you taking time to mediate and tap into the spirit to find the answers to your questions?  What promises does the Word of God give you to guarantee your success?  The great thing about the Word of God is God gives us reassurances, promises and encouragement towards our future.  You do not need to be afraid even if things are a mess in certain areas of your life.  God promises never to leave you or forsake you.  He is the anchor in your storm if you will put your trust in Him.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~ Jeremiah 29:11

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. ~ 1 Peter 5:10

Faith is very different from hope.  Hope wants something with no guarantee.  Faith expects something with the guarantee that God will provide His will in every situation. And then faith takes action towards receiving those results.

So let me encourage you, whatever you are asking God for, whatever it is that you want to see come to pass,  ask, believe, take action and then recieve.  Let this year be the most successful year to date.  God bless you always!

KEEP YOUR FAITH ALIVE

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” ~ Deuteronomy 31:6

Faith is simply confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ~Hebrews 11:1

It takes ongoing practice and intentional action to keep your faith alive and strong especially when you are going through rough times.  One of the best things you can do is stay close to the Lord in prayer.  Prayer as you know is the best way for you to communicate your thoughts and feelings with your Creator.  He knows us best.  He knows your needs and wants before you even ask.  But when times get tough and you feel like God is not hearing you, or you are not seeing the results that you want, just remember all the times He showed up and showed out for you!

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." ~ Matthew 17:20

One of the things I love to do is write in my journal all the times God has brought me through situations.  I write the problem, what I am having faith that God will do and then I write my feelings, emotions of faith backed by scripture. The bible says all we need is just a mustard seed of faith to see results.  What an awesome God!  Do you know how small a mustard seed is?  He makes it so easy that He says you only have to believe just a small bit and HE will do the rest.

I do my best always to surround myself with uplifting encouraging people of faith.  That way if I am in a low season, I have many people around me that can and will pick me up.  Keeping your faith alive and increasing is vital to your success.  Visualizing your outcome often can bring you from stagnation to manifestation!  Try it!  You will be amazed at your results.  Think about the movie picture in your mind of how you want things to turn out.  Meditate on the positive outcomes always.  It is the only way you will attract what you want.  But be open to what God brings to you.  He will always bring the will for your life.

So lets recap!  Keep your faith alive by keeping communication with the Lord open daily by praying.  Journal your prayers and results.  Find scriptures that will back up your faith and visualize often the results you want.  Surround yourself with uplifting encouraging people of faith all the time.  Keep your thoughts positive and always always believe that all things are possible!

WITHOUT FAITH YOU CANNOT PLEASE GOD!

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

~ Hebrews 11:6

Faith is simply confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. ~Hebrews 11:1

To believe in God means you believe in a spiritual Being that you simply cannot see.  And although you cannot physically see God, we all have His spirit.  We are all connected to Him and everything around us.  God can speak to you in different ways, but it is when you believe that He is real that everything around you becomes a means of communication and expression of His love for us.  To believe in God means that you will take Him at His Word and live your life according to what He says for us to do to live a righteous lifestyle. In order for this to happen you must believe with your whole mind, body and soul that He exists.

How can you please God without faith? You just can't.  Faith is believing in something you cannot see but confident that it is possible.  So think about all the dreams and ideas you have brought to pass.  You might not have been able to see it, but you had to have a level of faith to bring that idea to fruition.  So, there is definitely a correlation between our faith in God and the ability to manifest things in our lives.  If you get to know God, read His word, fellowship with Him, expect Him to communicate with you every day, you will naturally increase your faith in Him and create an ease of communication, expectation, trust and affection.  Because truly to believe in God is to have a relationship just like you would with anyone else.  The difference is God is your Creator, so He knows you on the most intimate level deeper than anyone else because He created you.  So when you increase your faith in Him you will experience and intimacy where you speak, and He listens.  He speaks, and you listen.  You tell Him your hurts, desires, weaknesses and triumphs.  He tells you visions, assignments, directs you and fulfills every promise He makes to you.

Now imagine you have prepared a plan for your child giving them everything they could ever need to fulfill the call for their life.  But as this child is going throughout their life, challenges, obstacles and setbacks come to derail the path you have ordained.  Now wouldn't you as a parent be frustrated, upset and even displease if this child refused to listen to you or even seek your advice of what to do?  I mean you have everything planned perfectly so you know exactly what your child would need to do to avoid, overcome or even face head on difficult challenges that may arise in his or her life.  That is how God feels. We cannot please Him if we do not believe or trust Him enough to involve ourselves in an intimate relationship with Him. The stronger your relationship with God, the stronger your ability will be to face life and be victorious in every way.

The amazing thing is, the more you get to know Jesus who is the physical manifestation of our invisible God, the more you will desire to please Him.  The more your faith will increase.  The more you will know that you know that you know God is for you and wants the best for you.  The more you trust in the Lord, the more alive and powerful will His Word be in your life.  You will be able to stand firm in His love and teach the world around you how to live a lifestyle of faith, love and walk in His purpose.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~ Jeremiah 29:11
