The 2020 Toronto Prayer Breakfast

We had another successful Toronto's 2020 Prayer Breakfast today! Lots of wonderful people came together to pray over many sectors of our city - our families, children, marriages, government, teachers, media, arts, entertainment, businesses, spiritual leaders, pastors, emergency responders and more!

Pastor Donnie Persaud led in prayer again this year as we prayed over each item for our communities.

Stacey Ann Berry said Grace over breakfast. And it was a lovely breakfast as always consisting of eggs, sausage, bacon, turkey bacon, pastries, croissants, yogurt, and breakfast rolls.

See Hear Love T.V Host Melinda Estabrooks hosted this year's event powerfully. She led each segment with gentleness and ease.

And we absolutely loved hearing from the amazing keynote speaker, Danielle Strickland, who gave us some incredible nuggets to take away. Danielle is a Spiritual leader, Justice Advocate, Speaker and Author of the book titled Better Together: How Women and Men Can Heal the Divide and Work Together to Transform the Future. Her book talks about Is it possible in the aftermath of #MeToo and #ChurchToo movements for men and women to actually find hope and healing and create a better world—together?

“Live a life of love ... and give your power away.” ~ Danielle Strickland.

Marsha Wagner the Creative Arts Director of Global Kingdom Ministries led worship beautifully again this year and also led the singing of the Canadian National Anthem.

In attendance were government officials, Christian business leaders, community and education leaders, media personalities, emergency responders, pastoral leaders, and many others.

As the body united in prayer, the Holy Spirit directed every word spoken.

We thank every person that worked to make this event a success, including all the sponsors, attendees, and speakers.

It is always lovely to attend this annual event. Having the chance to be included in corporate prayer gives a sense of oneness with all the prayers over our families, ministries, businesses and community officials and leaders. Love that we prayed for the containment and solution for the CoronaVirus, touched on the sudden deaths and tragedies all over the world, and the financial strains amongst our communities.

The only way to see change is to pray. Address the issues and corporately ask God to provide the solutions we as a community need to see.

Thank you, Stacey Ann Berry, for sponsoring a table again this year among many other businesses, groups, churches, and ministries. Thank you to all the amazing sponsors, Christian Herald Newspaper, CrossRoads, The Toronto Christian Directory, Jesus In The City, Faith Life Financial and Canada Christian College to name a few.

It was a great morning of reconnecting with some lovely people again and connecting with some new ones to expand the growth and continual building of our faith-based communities.

This is an annual event, so make sure you are at the next Toronto Prayer Breakfast in 2021. TGBTG!!
